Certified Professional Life Coach for Young Adults
I’m Terry Burks, an Arizona native, and I began my career with Mountain Bell. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business at the University of Phoenix. During my 15 years of career, I represented the phone company as a Loaned Executive at United Way, where I assisted with fundraising and helped with responsibilities for state and county government campaigns.
Early Background
I participated in the Stay in School program, where I spoke to eighth-grade classes about the importance of education to their future. These programs expose youth and adults with diverse backgrounds and socio-economic groups.
Educational Background
My experiences participating in the Stay in School programs inspired me to pursue further professional counseling and life coaching education. I worked towards a Master’s degree program for professional counseling at Ottawa University and received a 4.0-grade point average.
Christian Life Coaching
My life experiences, education, and strong Christian beliefs inspired me to focus on Christian life coaching. I believe every person has a higher purpose, and my mission is to help my clients find that purpose with God’s direction. I am a certified professional life coach designated by the International Coach Federation. I have been happily married for 39 years.
